Packing your suitcase isn't always an easy task, though Sarah has some amazing tips to keep your jewelry collection ready for any look in any destination.
What to Pack on Your Next Trip
Sarah is currently packing for a little getaway and has some great tips on how to store your jewelry. Keep your jewelry safe, dry, and in a scratch-free space by using our SMJ snap pouches for easy storage. Add on this buttery-soft, faux leather pouch to any order.
Wondering what kind of necklaces to bring along with you?
Sarah says, "When you travel you want to choose between three and five necklaces that you can swap around with any neckline.
Bring one chain with texture if you are doing a layered look, like our Faux Pas Necklace that will give you an instant luxe feel to any casual look. Wear the less delicate pieces on travel days so they don’t get tangled while you’re moving around and there’s less chance of your necklaces getting damaged.
Keep your other necklaces tucked away in mini-ziplock bags so they are easy to transport."
A special SMJ tip: Always leave the clasp hanging out of the baggie, zip up the bag with the clasp out and your chain won’t tangle up in the bag. This is such a lifesaver!
A Layered Look for Travelling
One of Sarah's favourite looks is the Faux Pas necklace layered with the Licia and the Helen necklace. Another go-to combination of SMJ pieces is the Franz necklace in a custom 22" length with the Made of Stars necklace to wear in different combinations.
Earring Must Haves
Always be sure to have a statement earring ready like the Aki earrings, which can go from a statement earring to the 17mm Stanley hoops for an every day look. Wear them together to make an impact, or take off the lower pendant and you'll have a classic pair of hoops to match any day to night look.

Mix and Match Studs
For studs, always pack a few extras in case you loose a pair along the way. We are likely going to be wearing them in and out of the ocean and swimming pools... we don't recommend this, but we know it happens! The last thing you want to do is loose a stud but this is exactly what happened to Sarah on her first dip in the ocean.
Sarah will be packing the Bae studs, Balance studs, Miley studs, and the Trio studs in her bag. The Trio studs are a great solution to a lost stud, as these were made to pair in different configurations for single and extra piercings.
