FAQ & SHIPPING INFO
CARE FOR YOUR JEWELRY
*Sarah Mulder Jewelry is "Costume Jewelry" that is made with plated finishes or base metals such as brass and copper
*Please avoid spraying hairspray and perfume onto your jewelry, as this may effect the surface look of the finish, some lotions and body cleaners may also affect the look of your pieces over time
*The best way to keep any metal from tarnishing is to put it in a closed container (a small plastic bag or a CLOSED jewelry box) to prevent air circulation.
*Do not use solvents to clean plated metal as this may cause damage to the surface
*Please remove jewelry before swimming or bathing, as water and salt water may damage the finish
*Remove jewelry before sleeping, sports & working out.
*Be careful when removing your clothing and heavy knits (including scarves), latches/jump rings & connectors can catch, pull and break if you do not take care, try to remove jewelry before clothing.
*Most earrings come with small rubber backings, these are provided to ensure you do not loose an earring while wearing them. More than anything I have requests for replacing lost earrings, so put those rubber backings to good use! (PS you can pick these up at your local bead shop for next to nothing for all of your earrings)
*Light and air can and most likely WILL tarnish your jewelry or worse cause permanent damage (as I found out the hard way with one of my favorite silver pieces!) Although I do work with a lot of non-tarnishing materials, there is still a possibility that it may tarnish if left out over time, so please take care to prevent damage by tucking your treasures away.

Sarah Mulder Jewelry is hand made with care, if you are unhappy with something you have purchased please contact email@example.com.
If your jewelry has a defect not caused by regular wear, it can be exchanged or repaired within 2 weeks of purchase (*a charge may apply on repairs). All sales are non-refundable. Sale items are final.
Shipping fees on items being exchanged are the responsibility of the buyer, along with any duty fess that may occur.
All items are shipped within *3-5 business days unless otherwise noted once payment is received. Items are shipped by Canada Post and should arrive within 5-10 business days if shipping within Canada.
(Tracking numbers will be provided on all orders over $100 retail (before tax & shipping) and if you would like a tracking number and your order is under $100 please use the tracking upgrade option at checkout to complete your purchase)
Sarah Mulder Jewelry cannot be held responsible for items that are lost during shipping. Any deliveries that are not received after being shipped are the responsibility of the receiver.
When shipping internationally Sarah Mulder Jewelry cannot be held responsible for duty fees. Please allow extra time for your orders to arrive if you are outside of Canada. Upgrades to shipping (tracking numbers etc) can be made by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org before time of purchase. Please note that the cost of tracking numbers for international shipping will vary with every order and will not be covered by Sarah Mulder Jewelry regardless of the amount purchased.
